Lapazoos

House band for Nightjar cocktail bar:

Singing, swinging, bluesy, New Orleansy fun!

The Lapazoos play monthly at London's famous Nightjar cocktail bar.  A band that formed almost by accident, it was so popular that is has become an institution at the fashionable Shoreditch venue.

Lots of vocals, we play classic toe-tapping swing, soulful blues, funky New Orleans, jazz and even a few covers of popular songs (in our own style)

Featuring:

Laurence Corns, singing and swinging on the guitar.

Graham Hughes, trombone whizz with classic songs from yesteryear, harmonica ballads and blues.

Ben Hazleton, supremo and creative wonder on the double bass.

We often have guests with the band.

Check when we are playing (usually fourth Thursday of the month) on Nightjar's website:

The band can be booked for private functions.
